For several years, I have written over 60 SEO blog posts through the WordPress platform on a variety of topics. These include informative discussions surrounding health care for HKJ Marketing. They also include both generalized and in-depth concrete construction content for architects, contractors, developers, engineers, owners, and concrete producers that Kryton International Inc. wanted to promote to. No matter what I wrote, I was always in charge of managing the blog posts' style guide and adhering to it, which I strove to do at all times. This dedication and my ability to simplify and discuss general and technical topics can be seen in the following blog post examples.
To demonstrate the success Kryton has earned over the years and help their sales team win over potential clients, I created more than 74 case studies. Such case studies were extremely effective at increasing Kryton's credibility and user engagement. In fact, the narratives I created for them were compelling enough to win Kryton contracts for additional projects, adding to the company's overall revenue.
During my time as a marketing communications officer for Douglas College, I have written several student profiles, including ones for the college's official 2025 domestic student viewbook as well as copy for the rest of the viewbook.
For Kryton's lead-generating initiatives, I pioneered a new type of content creation for the company in the form of marketing e-books. These proved to be highly successful with the following e-book in particular being attributed to over $23,000 in revenue and hundreds of new contacts and total form submissions to download the e-book.
As part of my three years with Kryton, I have worked within the HubSpot platform to format and publish a monthly email newsletter for professionals in the construction industry. That work produced click-through rates from around 4% to as high as a little over 8%, which is above average for the industry. They'd also occasionally be attributed to sales deals worth thousands in revenue.
For a little over seven years, I have provided a wide variety of editorial services to different organizations, including proofreading. A particularly significant example of this is when I helped the organization Word Vancouver proofread their print program for 2017.
While at Kryton, I coordinated work between multiple parties to help develop articles for publication. One of the most recent examples of this is when I worked with Kryton's technical services technician and the International Concrete Repair Institute's technical director to produce an article that highlighted a success story about a repair Kryton did for a multi-use building in Coquitlam, Canada. The original 300-word draft was created by the technician, which I then transformed into a fully defined article with 1,000 words or so, giving it a compelling narrative about Kryton's success. This end result was featured in the institute's Concrete Repair Bulletin publication on Page 16.
For both my copywriting role at Yellow Pages and my content marketing role at Kryton, I developed compelling website copy meant to promote a wide variety of products and services in a way that was tailored to specific target audiences. Then, from my Kryton experience alone, I took that skill to the next level, personalizing website and email advertisements that would be seen by professionals throughout the global construction industry.
Please note that the copy for the live versions of any website I've worked on is liable to change.
